Circumstances of Recovery:
On 06/30/2009 at approximately 1830 hours, two ranch hands working at the Duck Lake Ranch were rotatilling with large disks approximately 2 feet into the ground when the skeletal remains were unearthed. Anthropological examination revealed that the partial skull found had a defect consistent with a gunshot wound and another defect consistent with blunt force trauma. The remains were also consistent with forensic remains and not archaeological.
