I'm so thankful her mom was nearby and the daughter knew where to find her!

It's norm for the NYPost. It's a rag. It's useful sometimes on WS because it covers true crime and it's not paywalled. But it's a horrible tabloid that deals in sensationalism. Not a new thing.
