NYPD still searching for missing man, 73

Police are asking for the public’s assistance locating a missing 73-year-old South Beach man.

Benny Soto was last seen Thursday at 2:30 p.m. leaving his Capodanno Boulevard home, according to an NYPD missing flier.

He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, black pants and a black cap.

Police have called a “level-one mobilization,” indicating a large search, on Friday, scouring the East Shore for Soto, according to emergency radio transmissions.
