Hispanic male found unresponsive on the street in Bronx, New York. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died. Possible names of Raymond Ortiz, Jose Ortiz or Ramon Ortiz. These names have not been verified and next of kin has not been located.
Height- 5’2 (measured)
Weight- 139(measured)
Brown hair and brown eyes
Tattoos-- Left Upper Arm: ".R." "+ Ray" and an animal (wolf?) Right Upper Arm: a faded heart with a banner and a comic duck with names "Raymond" and "Cynthia" Left Hand: Unknown Tattoo Right Upper Back: Rose with "Hughes" "EE" "BOYS"

I also found this missing person with the name Jose Ortiz that is from Queens, New York but he does not have a NamUs file to cross reference.

New to this - as I posted in another thread, the NamUs of the UID no longer links to anything. Does that mean the person was identified?

Great find of the overlap between the two cases but the Jose Ortiz in the Dateline article was described as taller than the UID. I hope that Jose Ortiz's family found him.

He was identified as Raymond Ortiz and is now in the Unclaimed database as #UCP74541.
