Either that or he was under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

The only meaning I can find for ‘escorpion’ is that it means scorpion in Spanish. It could simply mean that his zodiac sign was Scorpio. Are there any sports teams that refer to themselves as the ‘scorpions’ or ‘escorpion’, because that was the only other reason I could come up with as to why you would put that word on a bracelet. It definitely looks homemade.

The surgical nail is definitely something that should help him be identified. I wonder if they were able to tell from the type/brand of nail whether he underwent this surgery in the USA.

Escorpion could have been his nickname.

Walking on a freeway without a coat... He could have been in a vehicle with someone. Maybe they got into an argument and he got out of the vehicle at some point to start walking.

Walking in the center lane does suggest some type of drug/ alcohol influence or mental break.

His height and weight mean that he was short for a man and stocky if not overweight.

I wonder why his fingerprints aren't available.

Jmo, random thoughts while reading about him.

Escorpion... Are there any gangs with this name? Gang members usually have tattoos though.

Men usually carry wallets. Why did he have no identification on him. Was he robbed? Even transients often have some form of ID that they carry, but sometimes not.

How long had he been walking on the freeway before he was hit? There must be witnesses who saw him walking before.

Was he actually walking along in the center lane or was he trying to cross and got grit in the center lane?

Yes been thinking about this more. It was Christmas and he had s tshirt and no ID.

These are the scenarios I keep thinking of.

He was coming from someone's home crossing the expressway going home.

He was dropped off on the expressway

He was in a car that broke down and was walking home

Just so odd. He had No Coat, no wallet and no house Keys.

Maybe he was robbed of his jacket and thatvis why he had no coat wallet or house keys.

I don't know .. just putting some thoughts out there.

I wonder if he was intoxicated or hung over. From partying for Christmas.

I found a lot of companies using the name "Escorpian" -- Restaurants, Trucking, Towing, Painting and Landscaping. The nearest one to this UID is Escorpian Landscaping in White Plains, NY-- it has been in business since the 1980's: https://porch.com/white-plains-ny/landscapers/escorpion-landscaping-1/pp

Perhaps he was a seasonal landscape employee there and that is why he had the bracelet?

** Warning - pic on his Namus file **

He seems to have very short hair that I associate with being a prison haircut (possibly a sign of my age and TV viewing!) But I wonder if this UID was newly released from prison, which could explain weather-inappropriate clothing and no ID or transport?

@madamx The surname stuck out to me - alacrán is Spanish for scorpion. Maybe it was a nickname since it's so close to his last name? Probably nothing but practically jumped off of the page when I saw it!
