I have a very strong potential match who isn't in NAMUS (as in, I was in conversation with a relative and tried to enter his case in NAMUS on their behalf and it got rejected). He was reported missing at the time he disappeared. Is there a good way to submit a match like this?

I'm not super familiar with New York but I would say to submit to the coroner for this UID and maybe the New York state missing persons clearinghouse? If you are also comfortable with getting the family members involved with submitting that would also give the case some weight.

I agree with heartanium. The quickest and most detailed responses I have received were from the Coroner’s Offices.

I'm not sure I want to get family involved myself. I'll see if I can reach out to the coroner.

This was my exact thought, that this was Raymond. His family has been looking for him and posted online. Everything fits and I think this is really him. Everything fits and Raymond is Puerto Rican. Even the timing from when he was last seen to when this male was found.

Poor Raymond. RIP.

@victoriarobinson642 is Raymond Padilla's NamUs profile still accessible to you? I'm asking because there was an unpublished MP from NY marked as Resolved in the past 1-2 hours and I am wondering if it was his..
I am clueless about how adding MPs to NamUs works and what happens to their profiles if they get rejected - would they still count towards the resolved cases if they are found?

It's not accesible to me, no. I'd bet it was him. :(
