The body of a male in his 30s was recovered from the Niagara River, near the foot of Hertel Avenue, around 8 a.m. on Saturday 14 May 2022. An autopsy will be performed.

Authorities got a call just before 8 a.m. after a fisherman spotted the body floating in the water near the foot of Hertel Avenue.
