Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — Shyla Jump is seeking closure in a cold case that has haunted her family for nearly 44 years.

"There is a remote location that I do believe is a possibility that my grandmother is on right now," she said. "The (Rochester) Police Department is taking that lead, and they're doing what they need to do, investigating part of that."

Jump said her grandmother overdosed the week before she went missing and was taken to the Terrence Building on Elmwood Avenue, which at the time was a psychiatric hospital.
