COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. (WBNG) — The Cooperstown Police Department is seeking the public’s help in its search for a missing person.

According to police, 67-year-old Chester S. Kucharski Jr. was last seen leaving Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown on January 25 around 3:50 p.m.

Police say Kucharski most recently lived in Oneonta.

Authorities say Kucharski is approximately 5 feet 11 inches, 150 pounds, has gray hair and hazel eyes.

According to police, he has been reported as a missing vulnerable adult.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Cooperstown Police Department at (607) 547-2500 Ext 1.
