31-year-old Connor Hickey has been missing since March 14. His last known communication was with his family that morning.

The distance is around 22 miles.

Dorchester Park is not a very big park, and there aren't areas within the park where someone could, say, get lost in the woods. If he has a car, there really isn't anywhere to hide a vehicle. It's mostly a picnic area with shade trees and a swimming beach, and when I was a kid we rented sailboats there (website says you still can.) In the winter, people use the park to access the reservoir for ice fishing.

There aren't hiking trails in or adjacent to the park, although there is a walking/bike path along the shore. You eventually run into private property at the north end of the path, and the south end of the path goes over the dam and into the small town of Whitney Point. Right now, with the leaves off the trees, the park grounds would be very visible.

MOO, I grew up not far from the area.

The Broome County Sheriff's Dept posted a message about a road closure due to an investigation; the road was reopened a few hours later. The road that was closed borders the northern end of the reservoir, approximately 3.5 miles from Dorchester Park.

No further information has been shared, so I'm not sure if it's related to Connor, but I thought I should include it in case it turns out to be relevant.
