NY - Edwin Caizaguano,24, Rapes Girlfriend's 10 yo Sister, Escapes to MN. Arrested.

The NYPD's fugitive apprehension team traced a 24-year-old man who allegedly raped his girlfriend’s 10-year-old sister to Minnesota and arrested him, authorities said.

Edwin Caizaguano allegedly raped the child at a house on Moffat Street in Bushwick on Oct. 19, police said.

The traumatized girl needed surgery after the attack, but was able to recover, authorities said.

He was charged with rape, assault, predatory sexual assault against a child, sexual abuse, sexual misconduct and acting in a manner injurious to a child.

A disgraceful pervert who raped a little girl and then fled the state will spend 10 years — and maybe the rest of his life — behind bars for his savage crime.

Edwin Caizaguano, 25, admitted to the predatory sexual assault of a 10-year-old girl inside an apartment on Moffat St. in Bushwick.

The October 2015 attack left the child with injuries so brutal she needed surgery.

"Sir, the only reason why I gave you — what I think — is a lenient sentence was to spare that child from any further trauma," Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Vincent Del Giudice told Caizaguano on Wednesday."
