Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — An affidavit explains how at least two men allegedly sent cocaine from Puerto Rico to addresses in the U.S., including the home on Knapp Avenue in Irondequoit where a family of four was killed Aug. 31, 2024.
Police discovered the bodies of 30-year-old Fraime Ubaldo, his girlfriend, 26-year-old Marangely Moreno-Santiago, and their two young children, 4-year-old Evangeline Ubaldo Moreno and 2-year-old Sebastian Ubaldo Moreno, inside the home, which was set on fire.
So it sounds like the family was possibly killed in retaliation for a situation related to drugs? Fraime possibly received the cocaine and sold it, but used the money and couldn't pay it back to his cousins? I'm sure there's far more involved, but something along those lines.
These were brutal, horrific, murders. Torturing/killing Fraime for something he did is one thing, but killing the kids and Marangely is off the charts. I guess this is the reason for the weirdness we sensed back at the beginning of the case. Her family likely blamed Fraime for their deaths.
