John Logatto, 68, was last seen Saturday at about 11 a.m. leaving his Abbottsford Road home. Logatto has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and may be in need of medical attention,.

He is described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 198 pounds. He is bald and has blue eyes. He is believed to be on foot. He was last seen wearing a blue long-sleeve shirt, blue sweatpants and black Velcro sneakers.

A Schenectady man last seen Saturday has been found safe in Watertown, officials said Sunday evening.

Authorities located him at Samaritan Medical Center there, but in good health, city police said. Police, however, continue to investigate the incident.

The search for John Logatto, 68, of Abbottsford Road, included ground searches in Schenectady Sunday and support from the air in the form of a state police helicopter.
