East Greenbush Police: Missing man left for work but never arrived

EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y. (NEWS10) - East Greenbush Police are asking for assistance locating a 55-year-old man missing since he left for work Friday and never arrived.


Police say Jon Lathrop left for work around 9:00 a.m. Friday, but never arrived. He has been missing since then. He has also not been in contact with anyone since then which police say is abnormal for him.

Lathrop was last seen in the Best Road area of East Greenbush.

Thanks for the link. Further down in comments on that post, the police dept. says he was driving a 2018 brown Toyota Camry, and Mr. Lathrop's cell phone is off.

Albany sheriff's office finds missing man's body
The Albany County Sheriff's office has found the body of a 55-year-old East Greenbush man who was last seen alive on Friday.
"Not the outcome anyone was hoping for," said Sheriff Craig Apple a few hours after the body of Jon P. Lathrop was found Wednesday.
His car had been found Tuesday near the Hannacroix Ravine in Voorheesville.
Police were alerted after Lathrop did not show up for work Friday.
