"You have an otherwise healthy woman who ends up in a snowbank, nude, and who probably froze to death, and there was no reason why that would happen accidentally or by suicide," the prosecutor said. "So the theory is somebody caused her to be there."
"She may have been rendered unconscious somehow likely was rendered unconscious before she got there but there is no evidence of that discovered by the medical examiner on her body or by toxicology," Healy said.
Healy recalled the night Kimberly went missing, which included a brutal wind chill that caused the temperature to drop below 5 degrees. The night also included a heavy snowfall.
