Brooklyn Supreme Court Justice Mark Dwyer sentenced him to 4 1/2 to 13 1/2 years in prison, a notch below the maximum. Since the defendant has been locked up for nearly four years, he’ll be up for parole in the fall, although a source said an early release at that point is unlikely.

“I don’t hate him,” Cummings said of her former beau, who was left to baby-sit little Kymel and later admitted he had smacked the baby for soiling the bed. “I know he didn’t mean it.”

I wounder what made the so called " Foster mother " decide to adopt young babies was it the money she was being paid I doubt it was for the love of the child

The defence tried to argue that Oliver was such a compliant, passive guy he had falsely confessed to LE about hitting baby Kymell. The defence position was that the foster mother killed baby Kymell.
