"A Silver Alert was issued Wednesday as police and relatives hope to locate Lucia Godoy, who was last seen at her home on Thompson Drive at 10 p.m. on Sept. 3.

And time is of the essence. Godoy is diabetic. She also suffers from schizophrenia, according to Suffolk police.

Godoy is described as 5 feet tall and about 100 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing multicolored leggings, blue shoes, a loose fitting shirt and a hat with a tiger on it.
