ALBANY City police are searching for a 60-year-old woman who was last seen this morning on Second Avenue.
Marilyn Soto Torres was last seen at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday at her Second Avenue home, which located between Beekman Street and Frisbee Avenue near Hoffman Park. She has a history of mental illness and may not be dressed appropriately for tonight's weather, police said.
Soto is described as a 5-foot-3 Hispanic woman with light skin, blonde hair and brown eyes, weighing about 150 to 160 pounds. She is possibly wearing a black coat with brown fur around the hood, gray shoes with white soles and a dark colored winter hat. Soto only speaks Spanish.
Police officials and family members have expressed concern over her safety. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Albany detectives at 518-462-8039.
