EVANS, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Town of Evans Police Department is attempting to locate a missing 65-year-old man.

Mark F. Pelgrin is described as 5'11" and 190 lbs., with gray and black hair and hazel eyes.

He was last seen Dec. 2 at his Town of Evans residence.

Pelgrin has medical conditions that need immediate attention, police say.

Search continues for missing Town of Evans man

Police and helicopters continue to assist in the search for a missing Town of Evans man last seen a week ago.

Mark F. Pelgrin, 65, was last seen Dec. 2 in his Evans residence in the Bluffs subdivision. Pelgrin has been described by friends as a friendly neighborhood volunteer who enjoyed being outdoors. Police say Pelgrin has a medical condition that needs immediate attention. He is described as 5-feet-11-inches tall, 190 pounds, with gray and black hair and hazel eyes.

A dead body discovered on Woodlawn Beach has been identified as a missing person from early December....

On Wednesday, identification was made and confirmed to be Mark Pelgrin. All indicators are consistent with the Evans Police investigation and point toward an accidental death.
