I mean LE must have some better clues to assume the person was TG.
From what has been released here, I cannot see it. Blue painted nails, 2 ear piercings, lots of silver jewelry, a nose piercing and longer hair tied in a ponytail combined with black jeans and t shirt are more indicative of someone cis or genderfluid from a goth/emo/metal subculture than necessarily a transwoman. Those are of course not mutually exclusive, either and there are many nuances, also there are stages of transition transpeople pass through.
