Also can confirm: Brian Steel was in court today for Diddy’s hearing. Many might know Steel best as Young ’s lawyer. As far as the rumors circulating about Mark Geragos also joining the defense team. No sighting of him and no official word on that (yet)

Huge updates in the Diddy case: The judge ruled today that the Intercontinental Hotel video of Diddy assaulting Cassie will be admitted. The government also says they gave Diddy a plea offer and he rejected it.

I think Diddy has completely normalized his behavior. So, he thinks he hasn't done anything wrong. Just the peripheral information in this saga is disgusting, disturbing, and definitely NOT normal.

Was his behavior illegal? That is interesting. His defense is that everything was "consensual". And I believe that any kind of cash/money exchange was done by his "staff", so a layer of anonymity. Diddy can say he didn't know anything about it.

Beating his girlfriend is definitely not normal. But, he is not on trial for domestic violence. Which is interesting, because I don't think that the judge should have allowed that video in as "evidence". I see that as a huge appeal issue.

I have not followed this case, because it is just gross, and shows what an excess of money can do...

Biggest takeaways from Diddy Jury selection: a lot of prospective jurors were unfamiliar with the full extent of Diddy’s case (although some have seen the documentaries) most said they can be fair & impartial. Some of the jurors were from Westchester Co., Manhattan, and the Bronx

Diddy told the judge today he was “a little nervous” plus he appeared in a navy sweater, white collared shirt and navy slacks (no belt or laces on shoes per judges order)

More prospective jurors will be questioned tomorrow but for now they have about 18 who essentially could be called to return and move forward. So it looks like a jury could possibly be seated by the end of the week but we’ll see

Also the govt might not call Alleged Victim3 to testify. The govt said it might not be necessary to call her. She was subpoenaed but they are unsure if she’ll show up to trial (doesn’t live in the state). But pros. say there will be no statement about her in their openings

That is interesting. If you use THC, you are off federal juries. Still illegal at the federal level, even if a person uses it for medicinal purposes, legally in the state they live. Or recreationally, if legal in the state they live.

At some point, if that is the disqualification, there may be very few people eligible to serve on a federal jury.
