NY NY - Sean Wayne Evans, 2, Watertown, 17 May 1984

I tend to lean towards the abduction theory or just the foul play theory in general because if Sean drowned then why would his cloths be folded up on the railroad tracks?

This is Sean’s baby brother after my mom passed away my sister and I took over the case. No one will ever accuse anyone unless there is true evidence that the person was involved. My mom and dad were still together at the time and did not separate until years later. My mother talked about Sean every day and never gave up hope. Yes divers went into the water and not just once they went in twice, and not anything of Sean’s was found in the water or washed to the side. I strongly believe he’s out there somewhere and I believe he was never in the water. He was 2 1/2 years old when he went missing and the 25th of this month he will be 39, within that time something should have come up. We will never give up the search and will always hope to find answers! This article was in our paper this year Thirty-six years after disappearance of Sean W. Evans, family still maintains hope

Bumping up. I hope Sean's family will get answers. Maybe they should consider doing some DNA kits, such as Ancestry and 23andMe just in case he or his children, etc have done one and opted into the family tree.

Further back, a person says that she is Sean's cousin, which I don't doubt, but she insists that it was a kidnapping. Why so sure? Children are moved by curiosity and if they find themselves alone they give in to their crapulence. I do believe that he drowned, rolled into the river and a kidnapping fell, it is unlikely... no enemies, no suspicious vehicles in the area, I imagine many areas green etc I hope he is fine wherever he is but a little baby like him must be in heaven...
rest in peace Sean

Have any of the siblings done any DNA tests with Ancestry or 23andme, etc? I would suggest that if you feel strongly that he may have been abducted.
