I guess then the mods can move this thread to found. Wish there was a bit more info. Hopefully he is ok.

Tom was my cousin. His body was found later in 1994 in a river in NYC. It was not until +/-10 years ago that the family found he had been buried in a pauper’s grave as a John Doe, having lost touch with the family due to substance abuse and mental health issues. He was disinterred and cremated. We spread his ashes in Provincetown Mass.

So so sorry for your loss. Glad that at least your family has been able to find closure after all these years and give him a proper burial.
Rest In Peace Thomas.

AtlSteve: I was a very close friend of Tom's in New York in the early 1980's and have some personal photos of Tom, if we could speak sometime. My mobile is 310-903-2166. I saw Tom infrequently after 1986 at events in New York. The last I knew he lived in Provincetown in a relationship with an artist?, which he told me about when I saw him for the last time in about 1991 or 2 in New York. Later, I learned of his disappearance in ~1995-6 from his Yale friend, Wiley. I spent time with his sister and parents in Armonk in the early 1980's too, so I did Facebook Julia a few years ago. Please call or email me at [email protected]. Bob Kinsey
