GUILTY NY - Tiffany Pettiford, 28, beaten to death in her Queens home, 8 June 2010

Isaih Smith was mad. He was so mad that he beat Tiffany Pettiford to death with a bat while the kids and his other girlfriend looked on in horror.

Smith aged 48 was convicted of raping a 10 year old in 1990. Miss Pettiford aged 28 has a child with Smith. I'm not sure how the other girlfriend fits in but they all lived together in a basement.

Smith was angry that Pettifrod took up with another man recently and when she didn't bring him beer back after a trip to the store he beat her to death.

The plea deal freed prosecutors from proving that Smith intended to kill Pettiford. It also spared Smith the possibility of life behind bars.
