Police have surrounded a house in Arkville where they said the suspect, Travis Trim, 23, of North Lawrence, is holed up. State police said the mobile response team has exchanged gun fire with the suspect. They think he may have been hit, but they do not know if he is dead or alive.

It makes me so sad for the families of officers who are killed on duty. Entire communities mourn their loss and everybody including the criminal who kills them suffers. My prayers to the officers and their family and friends.
