whywould asociates of sean combs be paying people to support lugi

surely coombs has enough troubles of his own to worry about
My apologies. I used Sean Combs as an example when another sluether brought up paid protesters/supporters at trials. I was not saying the two individuals are connected personally in any way. I do not believe that LM has paid protesters or supporters; I think everyone that is there wants to be there. This is just my impression.

I am not sure how to tag people or if that is even possible, but thank you so much for the sharing all of these updates with us, arielilane!

Officer Christy Wasser is back on the stand for cross-examination by Karen Agnifilo.

Agnifilo confirms that Wasser was alone the morning of December 9, 2024 (in her patrol car ) and heard the 911 call over dispatch regarding the alleged CEO Shooter at the McDonald's to Detweiler.

"You decided to head over to the McDonald's correct?

Yes.

"Did anyone assign you there?"

No.

"You called Officer Detweiler, but he didn't ask you to come to the McDonalds" correct? You went anyway?"

Correct.

"Are you a supervisor?"

No.

Agnifilo points out that Wasser did not activate her BWC when she first arrived at the McDonald's upon arriving at 9:44AM, through the side dining area (notes that she slipped as well).

BWC plays starting at 9:44AM, with Wasser entering. She points out Officer Frye and Officer Yager (sp?) next to Mangione at the table. KA asks her to also point out the black backpack on the table a few feet away.

KA asks Wasser about the NY CEO Shooter case- if she looked up pictures on her phone before arriving, about the gun in the incident (Wasser states she was unaware it was unrecovered).

KA asks if Wasser asked any customers to leave McDonald's or clear the main area of employees or an customers at all, or ask anyone to move to another area...she says no.

KA asks if this is because she saw that the situation was under control when she arrived? Officers standing by the side doors, hallways etc?

Wasser says yes.

Wasser confirms she's in the background of the BWC footage awaiting any instructions, with Trent and Hanley in the background. We're at 9:48AM, and we hear Mangione being mirandized.

KA asks Wasser about noticing a toilet leak when she was asked previously check the ladies room. She remembers the leak.

"I'll be Home for Christmas" is absolutely blasting in the background of the BWC, oy.

KA asks how many officers are at the McDonald's upon Mangione's arrest, and Wasser says 10. On the current freeze frame of the BWC, KA points out that we see 3-5 officers between Mangione and the backpack- Wasser confirms.

KA points out that there is also someone on the scene from the AG's office, and Wasser confirms. KA pointed out a customer walking to the bathroom while Mangione is in cuffs, with 3 officers standing between him and the backpack- Wasser confirms again.

KA points out more customers walking around, and a discussion on BWC footage by Wasser and Detweiler, where KA asks again if anyone asked Wasser to go to the McDonald's. She said no one asked her to go.

KA also asked Wasser about looking down at Detweiler's chest, noting his body-cam was on, and saying "wow," and appearing to stop talking.

Wasser says maybe she didn't want to say anything personal while his BWC was on, but she isn't sure.

KA notes that at 9:58AM, Wasser puts on her gloves. KA asks if that's because she doesn't want to contaminate evidence, and Wasser says it's also in case of any harmful drugs, substances etc (paraphrase). KA is now asking about the layout of the backpack- side and front zippers- and also confirmed that items were in bags in the backpack.

KA asking about Wasser's "heightened fear" when Mangione invoked his rights, playing the BWC. She says yes, it did.

KA notes however, that Wasser already had gloves on, and was going to search the bag anyway. KA is asking which parts of the backpack she first unzipped as we watched, and we see her moving a knife on the table. Wasser isn't sure which was opened first, but we are watching her on the BWC.

KA asks about "items being wet" inside the bag. Wasser says, "they were damp, yes."

We pause as Wasser speaks to Trent (her superior), and he said something about taking the bag back to the precinct.

We're at 9:58AM, when Wasser unzips another pocket (watching from Fox's BWC), and they are speaking about searching for a potential bomb.

For anyone wondering:
Body worn camera (BWC) refers to cameras used by police to record their interactions and activities during events/arrests.

KA lists the other items found in the waterproof bag as she calls it, but says the state referred to it as a faraday bag (passport, wallet etc), and says, "These are other items that you'd probably want to keep dry?" as Wasser puts them back into the bag. Wasser says yes.

Emphasis mine.
Yes, I doubt that as well !

The fact that this total scum of the planet earth even has supporters boggles my mind.
I have not forgotten Brian Thompson's family and the pain this monster has put them through.
Nothing excuses LM's actions that day.
Imo.

"Did anyone tell you to stop searching (for a bomb) because there was too many people in the area at the McDonald's?"

No.

"Did anyone tell you to stop searching at the McDonald's because it would be better to lay the evidence out somewhere?"

No.

KA asks about Wasser filling out an incident report, and Wasser confirms she filled it out "later that evening." KA asks if she has to include every single fact, and Wasser says "as much as possible" and "you want to tell the truth."

"Do you read what other officers put in theres before filling yours out, in the case of Mangione?"

No.

"Isn't it true that in the incident report, you don't say anything about looking for a bomb?"

I'd have to look at the report. (she's handed a report)

Wasser states she made a brief mention (of looking for an explosive ) while searching the backpack after reviewing the report.

KA comments that Wasser and Fox were aware that Mangione was charged with forgery/fake ID (in PA) however, continue to look for a bomb in the backpack??

Objection to form- KA rephrases and asks if they were actually looking through the bag because they suspected he was the NY Shooter?

Wasser states that they would search any suspect's bag like this upon arrest.

Brian Thompson was killed outside the New York Hilton Midtown in Midtown Manhattan, NYC.
The firearm used in the killing was not found in NY, but rather in PA.

Prosecutors have said the handgun found in the backpack matches the firearm used in the killing and that writings in the notebook showed Mangione’s disdain for health insurers and ideas about killing a CEO at an investor conference.

Satisfied there was no bomb, she suspended her search and placed some of the items back in the bag. She resumed her search at the police station, almost immediately finding the gun and silencer. Later, while cataloging everything in the bag in what’s known as an inventory search, she found the notebook.
