KA confirms that Wasser continues searching the bag after 10AM when Mangione has left the station. Now we're watching BWC from Wasser's camera.

We're going through footage that we've already seen of Wasser pulling out evidence and items from the backpack at 10:01AM- laptop, computer chips, and then the underwear (Wasser notes she unrolled it because she felt something hard, and that's where she found the mag). We overhear a supervisor saying not to lay the evidence down on the table because of DNA.

KA confirms that Wasser showed the magazine to her LT upon discovery, and she says yes. Wasser confirms they did believe he was the "NYC Shooter," when asked by KA.

KA asks Wasser about stopping the search and being ordered to go back to the precinct after finding the magazine because she found important "evidence to the NY case," to which Wasser says she stops because she was "ordered to." Wasser also clarified that she did continue to "feel around" for a bomb after being told to pack up.

KA asks about the silencer in the side pocket, which could have been "the same shape a pipe bomb"....

KA is asking about Trent at 10:04AM saying in the background, something about a warrant, and adds "because we are aware of that crime." She asks if he is referring to the NY Crime..Objection, and it's sustained. BWC continues to play.

It's 10:04AM, and Wasser is now in her patrol car with the evidence going to the precinct. KA confirms that Wasser turned off her BWC and did not have her patrol camera on either. Wasser confirms she pulled over after speaking with Fox to retrieve the evidence bag from him as he was dispatched elsewhere, but doesn't remember the details.

It's 10:15AM, and Wasser's BWC is now turned back on, and we see her take the McDonald's bag of evidence inside the precinct (we don't see the backpack). Wasser confirms she has an assigned parking spot because of the patrol car she's driving. KA asks why Wasser turned her BWC back on, when all she was told to do was drop the bag off at intake by Trent.

Wasser says policy and procedure require her to turn it on.

"But you didn't turn it on when you got the bag from Officer Fox? Or else we would have seen it?"

Correct.

It starts to get a little spicy as we see Wasser search the bag, now at intake. KA asks if Wasser searched the backpack when she stopped the patrol car, as she still had her gloves on, and turned her BWC off. KA says, that's why she made sure to turn her camera back on at the precinct- Wasser states it's "not accurate."

Wasser can be heard asking if she should be touching the weapon, when she retrieved it during the intake search- KA asks why she asked that, when she already knows the answer (meaning no, she shouldn't touch it). Wasser says she was just following protocol.

It's 10:18AM, and Wasser is searching for the fake ID in the backpack, and handing over evidence she removes to another officer. She's looking inside various pockets and pouches inside the bag.

Mangione has removed his grey coat, and is sitting at the defense table in his blue button down. He's watching the footage with his head slightly turned to the left, sometimes whispering to Kaplan.

KA asks if anyone has written down any of the evidence/ items at this point in the search, and Wasser says no. Wasser says they were taking photos to see which "Sheetz" location that Mangione went to (for the hoagie, which I believe had a barcode). Sheetz is a gas station/convenience store located throughout PA.

We're still watching BWC footage of the backpack search via Wasser's camera.

Wasser can be overheard saying, "this is awesome," and KA says, "because all of this is awesome, right?" Wasser says that she was just proud of her department.

Emphasis mine.
Yes, I doubt that as well !

The fact that this total scum of the planet earth even has supporters boggles my mind.
I have not forgotten Brian Thompson's family and the pain this monster has put them through.
Nothing excuses LM's actions that day.
Imo.
This also baffles me as well.

Many jobs might be seen as causing problems for others. We don't just go killing people to make a statement. i have said it several times, but it's all fun and games until someone those supporters' love is gunned down due to the job they have. We don't just go shooting other people because we don't like their job or we want to make a political statement.

Wasser stated that she met with prosecutors twice in Altoona and three times in NYC in preperation for her testimony today. KA is reading pieces of the PA Police Policies and hints that Wasser only knows the policies that prosecutors prepped her on.

Defense has no further questions, state says they'd like to do a brief redirect.

State is asking about why they didn't evacuate the McDonald's if searching for a bomb, and Wasser explained she was still concerned, but also looking for a weapon as well.

Wasser is reiterating that the search was incident to arrest, and she lawfully searched the bag. Everyone looks tired, including Carro and Mangione.

State is showing evidence exhibits again- black packback, multiple items of clothing: white shirt (with 3 dark buttons at the top), light grey underwear, dark grey hat and scarf, black gloves.(I think a grey backpack was used in NYC??)

State just got up after KA was finished and asked if Wasser was "aware that the crime was premeditated," before KA could sit back down. There was an objection, and Mangione shook his head at his lawyers, almost as if he was fed up.

Like @justtrish and others, I continue to be shocked by the legion of fans Luigi has. The photo below got hundreds of swooning comments when I saw it on a social media site. Thanks to @arielilane for all the relevant developments today.
