The map is shown on the evidence screen, and Fox is explaining the route he took. He drew it on the map in his possession.
KA asks him to draw and describe where they stopped to pass off the bag.
Judge Carro mentioned that if Fox touches the screen in front of him with his finger, he can draw or trace his route and we can all see it on the evidence screens. They are attempting to have Fox do this...
KA: So you took Union Ave, Union Ave pivots North, you stopped around 10th Ave....so you're almost at the precinct?
Fox says he stopped by Tuckahoe park, he got out of the car to give to Wasser, but she did not get out of the car. He did not have his BWC on.
KA confirms he then went back to the McDonald's. She asks what time he returned to the McDonald's but he does not remember.
She asks what he did after that.
Fox says he went back to the precinct to get assistance with tracking Mangione.
KA asks if that was around 10:30AM, he thinks yes.
KA comments that Mangione's arraignment was later in the evening and asks what Fox did in between.
Fox says that he began tracking Mangione (in PA- where he went, where he stayed etc).
KA: And you were doing this for the NYPD? This wasn't for the PA case?
KA: And you spoke to ADA Seidemann that day?
Fox: I don't remember
KA: But you told him that day you'd help him if he got a ticket because of parking..
Fox says his BWC was on when transporting Mangione to the Blair County Courthouse (it's about a 21 minute drive from Altoona PD), but Fox said his BWC died shortly after.
KA asks if he remembers saying something along the lines of, " It's the ultimate bad guy catch."Fox doesn't remember what he said..
KA asks if Mangione commented during the ride that, "This is a really nice town," and "it was a nice McDonald's"
Fox: Yes Ma'am
KA: And you were laughing together?
Fox: Yes Ma'am.
