I cant imagine why those handsome men would have to abduct a woman, can you?
Some men are resentful that attractive women are not available to them.

She is lucky to be alive.
Probably because she was fit and could outrun them. I am not sure how fast they would be on their feet.

when I look at their pictures, I think about victims being shackled in their underground bunker or storage container

Wonder what the end result was supposed to be. That is if they had accomplished the abduction.

She certainly is! In 1995 two realtors were murdered in Medford OR. It was a horrible case. I’ve always wondered how safe it is for agents to be alone when they show a place or have an open house...

On December 4, 1995, Ellis, 53, went to an appointment with 27-year-old Robert Acremant to show him an apartment. Police believed the appointment was made earlier that day. Ellis allegedly called her daughter, Lorri, at 4:00 p.m. to tell her she was going shopping.

Abdill, 42, left the office at 5:00 p.m. saying that she was leaving to help Ellis jump start her car after receiving a call that the car would not start. Later, Ellis's daughter drove over to the apartment complex where her mother was going to show the apartment and saw her mother's pickup. She said it pulled away from her when she tried to follow it.[2]

Ellis and Abdill were not seen again until their bodies were discovered four days later in the back of Ellis's pickup truck, after a cable TV worker reported the vehicle to police.[5] Both women had been bound and gagged, and shot in the head. The bodies were wrapped in drapes and covered by cardboard boxes.[6]

David J. Helton, 45, and Michael W.B. Evans 37, were in a silver SUV when they stopped in front of a home for sale last Saturday and approached a 54-year-old woman.

I worry about my sister a lot...she is a realtor in the Houston area and although her husband is her work partner/bookkeeper , due to the huge area they cover he can not always be with her on a showing. Right now most showings are online, but normally she has little choice but to show as needed. I am always sending her news of attacks :( which she may not appreciate but just to remind her of the dangers. This poor woman is very lucky.

I remember a few years back when some attacks were in the news, there was a big push for realty companies not to allow realtors to go alone to app'ts. I agree - I don't think anyone should be alone - male or female.

how sickening
those poor women

It was a really an awful crime, unusual for our area. I can’t believe it’s been 25 years. It seems like just a few years ago. I don’t know if realtors do safety in numbers now. The realtor on this thread was gutsy and savvy. I’m sure she knew she could not let them get her into the vehicle or it would be all over.
