Perhaps that is something you should pick up and hand carry to the final resting place?!

Seems like the preferred method of delivery ordinarily, but maybe not always doable?

Wife died in Cleveland, OH area hospital, w autopsy and cremation there.
Remains to go ~140mi to their Columbus OH area home,
for later planned military burial in Dayton, OH, ~70 mi.

Couple had bn married 61 yrs, putting him ~80 y/o(?). Wonder if he was still able to travel like to hosp, still able to drive?

Imagine being married 61 yrs, bless'em.

Ideally, yes---but when I made a whole-body donation of my mother she was cremated in Oregon and I was in Michigan. USPS was used for delivery.

That's why we elected not to ship my Aunt to my cousin.
We will wait until he comes back to visit. :twocents:
