On the New Miami Village, Ohio FB his daughter "SH" mentions a volunteer will be running a river sonar tomorrow and there's a search party meeting Saturday @ 10 AM at Marcum Park:

(If you follow on to her FB she also has a lot more info from the HPD detectives (don't think I'm allowed to bring that info here until it lands on MSM)

Search efforts continue for missing Hamilton man

Hamilton police are continuing their search efforts to find a man missing since last week. Curtis Kellums, 54, was last seen on the west side of Hamilton in the area of Cleveland Avenue around noon on Saturday, April 2.

One week later, his family joined Hamilton detectives, Equusearch Midwest and more than 200 volunteers to check various locations throughout the city.

Curtis Kellums, 54, was last seen on the west side of Hamilton in the area of Cleveland Avenue around noon on Saturday, April 2.

Curtis’ daughter, Krista, says that he left her house that day to get groceries from Walmart. She says that his last cell phone ping was on Eaton Avenue in the direction heading home, but that his phone hasn’t been on since.

David Rader, the director for Equusearch Midwest, says that they’re using every resource to try and find Curtis.

“We’re still hoping, you know, that maybe he just needed a break from life and he decided to kind of go off-grid for a minute,” says Rader.

Curtis was driving a gray/blue 2012 Ford Escape with Ohio plates DW77HM.

“We’re trying to locate the car,” says Rader, “and nine times out of ten when we’ve relocated the car, we’ll locate the individual.”

Curtis’ family says they are overwhelmed by the amount of support from the community and hope that their efforts reach Curtis.

They also have a final message to Curtis: “Come home...if you’re hurt, if you’re confused, whatever it is...you just come home.”

If you have any information on Curtis’ whereabouts, you’re urged to contact Detective Steve Hamilton at (513) 868-5811 or call 911.

Hamilton police, family and volunteers search for missing man

Dave Rader, director of Equusearch Midwest, said about 200 square miles in and around Hamilton were searched Saturday primarily for Kellums’ vehicle. “We weren’t looking in just one area. Since he had a car, he could have gone in so many different directions and travel as far as the gas tank will allow it,” Rader said. He said the search team will be out again this week with a drone to hopefully locate Kellum’s car. “If we find the car then we can take the search to the next level pinpointing where to find him,” Rader said.

As noted on the missing poster (thanks YaYa), he left the daughters place around noon to go to Walmart on Main Street, @ by approx 12:50pm he'd left Walmart driving erratically...

So, what happened at Walmart??? Does Curtis live in Hamilton??? If so, does he live with his daughter???

As I understand the situation, he went to Walmart for groceries. He did not buy the groceries (credit card not used). He left Walmart headed home to either his house or his daughter's house. He was driving "erratically." Are they sure he was the one driving? Did anyone see who was driving? Could he have been car jacked at Walmart?

Walmarts always have many CCTV cameras inside and out. I'd like LE to get footage and release it, so we know exactly if he was driving or not, or if he was carjacked etc.

Bumping.

I’m going to look and see if there are any large bodies of water near the wal-mart. I wonder if he was having a medical event (given the erratic driving) that may have caused an accident. Very surprising that the vehicle has not been located, especially with all of us Ohioans out looking for morels currently.

It looks like Main St (that the Walmart is on) goes over the Great Miami River, fairly close to the store. I’m not sure which direction he took out of there though and the water is only about 4.5 ft at deep at that bridge. It gets up to 10 ft in depth at other places in Hamilton though and there looks to be a road that runs along the river. There are also a few small lakes/ponds in the area but it doesn’t look very rural, so I’m guessing not a ton of foliage.

Related side note: there’s no way I’m the only person on here with an admiration of Adventures with a Purpose. Their sonar/diving might prove helpful in helping to locate Curtis if he isn’t found soon. I really hope this has a different resolution

Oh no. RIP Curtis.

I know it doesn't matter now anyway, but I looked at google maps and can't figure out how he ended up there. Take all this with a grain of salt, because I'm not great with maps, but BCSO says recovered at 2377 W Elkton. IF that is the pond (and there is no other pond at that address per map) it is literally in someone's yard. It seems like he would have left tracks in the yard leading to the pond if he went through the fence at the road. Or maybe he pulled in the drive to turn around and gassed it headlong into the pond?

This map just shows the various places mentioned, not in order or anything because it's hard to say how he actually drove it. BCPA shows Curtis lived on Cleveland Ave and OP article says last cell ping on Eaton Ave:
