Human skeletal remains were discovered Wednesday in Delhi Township.

Only a few pieces of bone were found, according to Assistant Chief Jeffrey Braun with Delhi Police. They were found in a ravine a few hundred feet from Rosemont Avenue near the Delhi Township-Cincinnati border.

The age, sex, and nature of the person's death remain unclear, Braun said.

The remains were transported to the Hamilton County Coroner's Office, where examiners will attempt to make an identification.

DELHI TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - Delhi Police officers returned to a ravine Thursday with members of a volunteer group to look for more bones after a boy found parts of a skeleton Wednesday evening.
Police and the Hamilton County Coroner's Office called upon the Midwest chapter of Texas EquuSearch to comb through the dirt and garbage in the hopes of finding more bones. The area where the bones were found is on Rosemont Avenue. It's a windy road with a guardrail.

"My grandson has found some human remains found here at the bottom of Rosemont Avenue in the creek. There's a skull. I went and looked for myself," the man said in a 911 call.

How the person ended up in the ravine is a mystery. There are a number of possibilities, including an accident, a natural death or a drug overdose. Lt. Joe Macaluso of Delhi Township Police said nothing points to foul play at this time.

Here was his Charley Project page: Gary Clark – The Charley Project

"Clark was last seen in the vicinity of Nottingham Road in Cincinnati, Ohio at 10:00 p.m. on May 4, 2017. He has never been heard from again. Clark lived in the 30 block of Harwell Court at the time of his disappearance, and frequented the Over-the-Rhine area near 12th and 13th Streets. Few details are available in his case."

It's about 6.5 miles from where he was last seen to where he was found: Google Maps
I wonder what happened?
