OH OH - Jermaine Strozier Jr, 18, Cleveland, 31 July 2019 *Possibly Abducted*

CLEVELAND — Police are searching for 18-year-old Jermaine Rashad Strozier Jr., a Cleveland man who sent a frightening text message to his father early Thursday morning.

“Deron dropped me off at a friends house and I was kicked in the ribs and I’m hiding in the bathroom,” Strozier said in the message to his dad around 1:30 a.m. “I don’t know where I am.”

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Eighteen-year-old Jermaine Rashad Strozier Jr. was reported missing and possibly in danger.

Strozier Jr. was last seen on July 31.

A police report described Strozier Jr. as an African-American male who is 5 feet 7 inches tall and approximately 150 pounds. He has short black hair, a mustache, earrings and a tattoo on his right forearm.

This is an interesting set of circumstances. To me, it sounds as if Jermaine's friend, Deron, dropped him off at a friend of Deron's. Is that how everyone else is interpreting it? Why would someone drop a friend off at a friends house when he doesn't know him. Or know where his house is?

Student Missing, Endangered In Northeast Ohio

Officers pinged the 18-year-old's phone and got a hit in Painesville. Strozier's father said he didn't know anyone in Painesville and didn't know any of his son's friends that stayed in Painesville.

He has a tattoo on his right forearm and a chipped tooth, according to Cleveland police.

Jermaine has posted enough on his FB for his family to know if it is really him. He posted what appears to be a family photo after his last seen date, although it could be an older photo. He talks about his cousin's death, and later, his grandmother's death. I hope this means he is alive, and that his family knows where he is. If his family doesn't know where Jermaine is, I hope Jermaine will get in touch with them.
