Help Kettering police locate 50-year-old missing woman

Kettering Police Department

The Kettering Police FB post about her still shows their update that she had been located.

It appears she hasn't contacted family in-person or via phone or text, but according to the FB post, police must have made contact with her sometime shortly before their update.

Is it possible she's just not wanting to contact family?

What are your thoughts on why the police would lie about a missing person having been found?

They wouldn't lie. That said, they will, thank God and all the angels ten billion billion times over, respect the wishes of an adult who wants nothing to do with their family.

Hmmm.... Yes, it seems it would be ridiculously strange and unusual and profoundly unsafe and unprofessional for the police to report something untrue about such a serious issue.

However, wonders never cease, and you never can know if a serious mistake has been made.

And yes, family matters can be extremely messy and sometimes an individual really needs to completely cut off all ties to their "previous life" for many reasons. I have wanted to do this several times for some rather serious reasons.

So, if the police are reporting the truth and protecting this woman in the process, well that is wonderful. Not so great though probably that she had to get away from her life.

So Lari, we are hoping that you are safe and able to live your life in peace with hope for your future.

If you read the comments, all her friends and family have said she has not been found. No idea why the social media person at KPD has not fixed.

I am aware of and have read the comments. KPD has posted that she has been located (presumably by them)
Have family/friends not considered the possibility that the police are not lying/incorrect and that they did infact make contact with her and that despite that, she has chosen not to re-establish contact with her family or friends?
