California woman vanishes after attending 'spiritual warfare' training conference in Ohio | Daily Mail Online

"A desperate search is underway for a 39-year-old California woman who was last seen over a month ago at a 'spiritual warfare' conference in Ohio.

Los Angeles resident Lindy 'Indy' Kidd was attending the 'Expelling the Darkness Training' at the House of New Hope in St. Louisville when she went missing on April 23, the Licking County Sheriff's Office reported on May 11.

Kidd suffers from multiple medical conditions, police reported, and needs to take daily seizure medication, according to her family."

"Reyes said that in particular his fiancé wanted to see a presentation from the Youtube channel 'Through the Black.'

Tom Dunn, who is credited as directing the videos on the channel, was a keynote speaker at the conference. 'Through the Black,' according to its website deals in 'spiritual warfare & stuff.' "

I’m confused about her medical issues, particularly her situation with seizures. Was she having daily seizures, or was that a reporting error, where it was meant she takes anti-seizure medication daily?

I tend to think it was the latter, for if she was having seizures daily, wouldn’t it have been a bad idea to travel alone to this conference? I wonder how well-controlled her seizures were by the medication.

I don’t often like to give personal details about myself, but I will disclose that I have epilepsy and take medication daily for it, too. Mine is very well controlled so that I often forget I have the disorder, though. Was hers not, and it interfered with her life? What troubled her so?

This video is a discussion about the event on Friday night. They state apx 175 people were present. It is said one of the speakers got sick Friday night
<snip and BBM>

Hmm, sick like from something like Covid? Flu? Noro?

It's just that 175 people from all over attending a conference at a hotel makes my mind go there. IF a speaker actually got sick (with whatever-it-was), I wonder if that then worked it's way through some of the other attendees. And then I wonder if this group would try and heal themselves instead of seeking traditional help - like maybe at the "camp" posted by 155etta (post # 14) - which could be very bad for someone with pre-existing medical problems.

Did she attend the second day of the conference? Were her belongings found at the hotel or did she move out? Who saw her last? Has her phone been found?
I don't think I found answers to any of my previous questions. Here are a few more.

What was her mode of transportation between the conference venue and the accommodation? Did she take a ride with somebody? Did she walk?

What effect would not taking her medication have on her?

Did any witnesses come forward that spoke to her at the conference and could attest to her state of mind at the time? If she was psychologically vulnerable, could she have just wandered off? Are there any bodies of water nearby?

How would she go by if she didn't have any money left? Did someone take her in?

Lindy, who goes by “Indy,” Kidd, 39, went missing after attending the “Expelling the Darkness Training” conference on Mount Vernon Road in St. Louisville, Ohio, on Friday, April 23, 2021. She had traveled from her home in Los Angeles to Ohio and was staying at the DoubleTree in Newark. Indy made it to the event that night, according to her fiancé who told Dateline Holly used her debit card for admission to the conference that day. Her card hasn’t been used since, he added. Indy, who suffers from multiple medical conditions and takes daily medication for seizures, found the group online. It claimed to be a spiritual and ritual abuse training conference. Detective Ryan Collins of the Licking County Sheriff’s Office told Dateline that Indy’s disappearance is being investigated and that they are doing everything they can to find her. There have been no updates since she went missing in April. Indy is described as being 5’1” inches tall, weighs about 120 lbs and has short auburn hair and blue eyes. She has tattoos including a large cherry blossom on her back and down her arm. If you have any information on Lindy’s whereabouts, contact the Licking County Sheriff’s Office at 740-670-5555.

Emphasis and bolding mine.
Well that sounds dangerous IMO.
What did the 'training' entail ?

In past cases , expelling the darkness or maybe aka 'exorcism' ended badly.
Not necessarily outright murder, but people can get carried away in the practices surround 'expelling the darkness' which sounds imo like "casting out demons" ?
Maybe it's worked fine with trained pastors or priests along with a family member present and involving mainly praying but not binding or people laying on top of each other ?
Did an accident happen, and there was a coverup ?
MOO.
