Tipsters who help bring about an indictment in the killings of Lt. William Walker or Firefighter Theodore Wright could earn $12,000 from each case, Frank Szabo, president of Cleveland Firefighters Local 93, announced Tuesday.
Walker, 45, was shot multiple times in the chest. Someone ambushed the off-duty firefighter in November 2013 in the driveway of his Lampson Road home on the city's East Side...
Wright, Jr., 58, died in May 2014 after crashing his truck into utility pole on Claasen Avenue near East 71st Street. Police called to the scene found Wright, of North Royalton, had been shot before the 3 a.m. crash.

“He was a great firefighter and paramedic,” said Patrick Kelly, Cleveland’s interim fire chief. “I’m a better man for having known Will Walker.”
On Sunday, an unknown assailant shot 45-year-old Walker multiple times in the chest in the driveway of his Lampson Road home. Police on Thursday said there are no new developments in the case.
Walker is survived by his wife and two children. Uloma Curry, who Walker married in July, did not attend the candlelight vigil.
