CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Police Department is searching for an endangered missing woman.

Police are searching for 31-year-old Melyssa Overton.

Overton is described as a Black female who is 5 feet and 1 inch tall, weighs 120 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes.

Police say the woman was last seen on March 16 around 12:10 p.m. at 5808 Ridge Ave.

Authorities said Overton left home and did not give any indication of where she was going.

Police say Overton suffered a brain injury in 2019, causing her to forget things and possibly how to get home.

The police also said that Overton does not have a car or bus card and that she generally walks when she goes out on her own.

Overton's mom has no idea where she might be, police say.

Anyone with information about this woman is asked to call 513-979-4400.

Her sister, Sabryna Overton, said Melyssa posted “can I get a ride,” on Facebook before she went missing. The post was made on a private Facebook group called the “Cincinnati Booylegs (Rides Only).

“I’m concerned that she is somewhere she doesn’t know where she is,” said Sabryna. “Like maybe she was dropped off somewhere, and she’s not able to get in touch with anyone.”

I can't find any updates about Melyssa. Investigators need to issue more appeals if she's still missing. MOO
