OH OH - Peggy Kline, 53, Cheviot, 8 November 2010 found dead in apartment

On November 8th, 2010, my aunt Peggy Kline was found stabbed to death in her apartment. She lived at Cheviot Terrace on Harrison Avenue. She had stabs/slices on each side of her jugular, and was found on the ground to the left side of her bed covered with a blanket. I recently got an assignment in class to create a podcast on a subject of my choosing, and I chose to do it on my aunt. Her case went cold, and the Cheviot Police Dept. stopped caring. My family is still hurting. We won't stop until we find her killer. If you have any information, or are interested in hearing more of her case to help the effort, please reply to this thread. We're desperate and grasping at straws at this point. Thank you.

Just an update:
The Hamilton County PD have picked up her case and have an unnamed suspect. Things are beginning to look up for us possibly finding justice.

Tell us about the area in which these apartments were located. I'm not a local, so I'll have to ask: was there any general feeling that it is particularly known for crime, or for being 'shady' or 'sketchy'?

The attorney general's page is vague on details. I would like to know if the door was locked when police entered the apartment, or if any windows were found open or broken in. Also, I'd like to know if anything of value was taken, or if the place appeared to have been ransacked.
