Found Safe OH - Richard Thompson, 97, Parma, 25 Dec 2017

PARMA, Ohio -- Authorities are searching for a 97-year-old man who did not show up at a relative's house on Christmas.

Richard Thompson told relatives he would be in Medina at 2 p.m. He has not been seen since then, police said.

Thompson, who lives in Parma, has dementia and does not have his medication with him, police said.

He is described as being 5-foot-8 and approximately 178 pounds. He has white hair and blue eyes.

He may be in a white 2011 Buick Regal with the Ohio license plate number JAY2636, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or the Ohio Attorney General's Office's Missing Person Unit at 866-693-9171.

Another elderly person with dementia that is still driving? WTH?? Only a 30 minute trip but he could be anywhere now. I hope he is found safe and sound....

They say on Dec. 24 at 2 p.m., Richard Thompson told his family he would be at their home in Medina on Christmas Day, but he hasn’t been seen since.
