OH OH - Serial Killer Plain City

Anyone know any information on a Serial Killer named Rod Baker, Plain City, Ohio??

Police came to his door with search warrants in 1987 and he shot himself.

There's not 1 bit of info on this guy except one old news clipping that's not much information
He resided in his home not far from where Kelly Ann Prosser's body was found.

Seems young prostitutes were his victims...He was a truck driver...

I apologize that I do not know about Kelly Ann Prosser, I found your post when looking for another missing Ohio woman. I can't relate any of this to Ms. Prosser, but I do know that Rod Baker was wanted for the murder of a girl and the rape of a woman, both from Columbus. Both of his victims were wrapped in plastic, and a roll of plastic was found in his house after he killed himself.

"BAKER WAS wanted for questioning in the death of Lisa McElhaney, 17, said to have lived in the Short North.

About 15 deputies were led to the house by a 23-year-old Columbus prostitute who said she was taken there March 28, raped, wrapped in plastic and left for dead in a West Side alley.

Lisa's nude body was found April 25 in a Valleyview creek. It was wrapped in a sheet of plastic and bound with clear tape. Lisa was identified by Columbus police and deputies as a prostitute who worked in the Short North area."
