AKRON, Ohio (WJW) – Authorities in Summit County are investigating the gruesome murders of three men, found bound and gagged at two separate crime scenes in Akron and Copley on Friday morning. The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office says all three of the victims were shot in the head.

A passerby made the first shocking discovery at 8:35 a.m. Friday on Cordova Avenue in West Akron, when he spotted two bodies on the side of the road.
The man told a 911 dispatcher that the two victims were bound and gagged and that one of them was face up, and the other one was face down.

A short time after the gruesome discovery in Akron, a third body was found dumped along Wright Road in nearby Copley.

So it might have something to do with their lifestyles? That’s an odd thing to say.

Is it though? Execution style by the sounds of it.

With the very little that we know now, this sounds like cartel/gang executions. Dumping the bodies on the side of roads like they’re trash - pretty brazen. I’ll wait for more info while sending love and light to the families.

I don't think it's such an unusual thing to say. It brings to mind drug running. IMOO

Yup.
The quotes below are weird things to reconcile collectively .

''Investigators say it appears the killer or killers carefully chose the area where the bodies were dumped. ''

''A short time after the gruesome discovery in Akron, a third body was found dumped along Wright Road in nearby Copley.

''The discovery of the three bodies in such close proximity, just 2.2 miles apart, and the fact that all three victims were bound, gagged and shot in the head, is alarming to residents in neighborhoods in Copley and West Akron.''

''However, Copley Police Chief Michael Mier says he does not believe the general public is in any danger. Chief Mier told Fox 8, ” I think based on the fact that there’s two bodies in Akron, and one body here and some similarities, that these folks were probably targeted and that it’s something to do with their lifestyle and whatever they’re involved in, and it doesn’t involve the general public.”
End quotes

Why would someone
plan where to put the bodies carefully and include placing one body 2.2 ,miles from the other 2 ?
The last quote on my list and the topic of your post ,yeah cant believe he has some idea this is of no concern to the general public . It could read as he is saying ,mind your business general public. Its a very loaded wording.

COPLEY, Ohio — Copley Police Chief Michael Mier tells 3News that officials have arrested a 58-year-old man in connection to Friday's murders in Summit County.
The arrest of Elias Gudino came less than 24 hours after three bodies were found shot to death in Summit County, all of which appeared to have been "bound and gagged."

I’m so glad there’s an arrest but this is so awful!

Investigators apparently zeroed in on Elias Gudino within hours of the bodies being discovered, obtaining a search warrant for his Henetta Avenue home Friday night. Gudino − who was sentenced to 150 months in prison in 2010 after federal officials broke up a national drug ring they said Gudino led from Akron − has been charged with one count of aggravated murder and one of attempted aggravated murder, according to the statement.
Public records show that Gudino at one time owned La Michoacana Taqueria and grocery in the 1400 block of Copley Road in West Akron.

Court records show he was born in Mexico and came to the U.S. in the 1980s and became an American citizen.

It’s odd he was not deported. Even if you are here legally, if you commit a felony you generally get deported.
