A 41-year-old Mansfield woman has been reported missing by her mother who last had contact with her daughter on Dec. 17.
On March 2, Johnnie Watkins, 70, of Clarksdale, Mississippi, filed a missing person report with Mansfield Police Department.
Teresa Y. Watkins of the 100 block of Sturges Avenue had already been reported missing out of the Tunica County Sheriff's Office in Mississippi, Mansfield police learned after searching for her name and vehicle in the national database.
Her mother told Mansfield police that her daughter and a 45-year-old man were residing together and that she knew the parties were having domestic issues. Her mother said that her daughter had been in the state of Mississippi but returned to Ohio with the man. She said the man recently told his mother that Teresa Watkins had left Ohio and returned to Mississippi, according to the Mansfield police report.
The missing woman's mother said she has not heard from her since Dec. 17 and is very concerned for her well being.
Mansfield police checked the last known address for Watkins in Mansfield to no avail, the report said.

This doesn't sound good... It's been a long time, where could Teresa be? Hopefully she is safe, but it's very concerning that she didn't contact her mom for all this time.
