Missing and endangered 14-year-old Cleveland girl last seen Sept. 1

Valissa Toney was described by police as 5′3″ tall, 114 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

LEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Cleveland Police asked the community to help find missing and endangered 14-year-old Valissa Toney.

Toney was described by police as 5′3″ tall, 114 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.

She was last seen by a family member running on Carlyle Avenue by Fulton Road at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 1, according to police.

Police said she ran and disappeared near Lincoln West High School.

The Cleveland Division of Police Second District Community Relations Committee shared this photo snapped as she was running away, and what she may still be wearing.

Gave me goosebumps when I read that second pic was her actually running. I wonder the context of taking that pic. Was there a fight or flight situation or an argument? Was the phone already out, ready to record or was it a spur of the moment, "oh crap she's running, let's get a pic of what she's wearing for the report" type thing. I hope she is safe.

Valissa was found after she ran away last year, but there wasn't an update so her thread is still open. Now she is missing again as of June 11, 2023.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Cleveland Police asked the community on June 13 to help find missing 14-year-old Valissa Toney.

She was described by police as 5′3″ tall, 150 pounds, with brown hair, hazel eyes, and walks with a limp.

Police said she was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a gray sweater, and dark brown glasses.
