MISSING CHILD LOCATED IN CADDO COUNTY

CHICKASHA, OK - On January 7, 2026, the Chickasha Police Department requested the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation to investigate the suspicious disappearance of 12-year-old R.J.
On the evening of January 2, 2026, R.J. was reported as a runaway to law enforcement. He was last seen near Fourth Street and Grand Avenue in Chickasha.
During the investigation, OSBI special agents spoke to R.J.s' mother, 33-year-old Kimberly Cole and his step-father, 43-year-old George Cole Jr. Based on the information and evidence gathered, both parents were arrested and booked into the Caddo County Jail on multiple complaints of child abuse.
The OSBI, along with several other law enforcement agencies and search groups, continued searching for Davis.
On January 11, 2026, R.J. was located in rural Caddo County by the United Cajun Navy search group. R.J. was treated by medical personnel and transported to a local hospital in stable condition. The OSBI and Oklahoma Human Services will locate a safe home for R.J. moving forward.
This is still an ongoing investigation at this time. Once the investigation is complete, the District 6 District Attorney's Office will determine official charges for the two suspects.
The OSBI appreciates the Chickasha Police Department, Grady County Sheriff's Office, Caddo County Sheriff's Office, District 6 District Attorney's Office Task Force, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation, Oklahoma Human Services, and the Department of Corrections/Office of Inspector General for their continued assistance with this investigation.
