<<Soto is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 225 pounds and has short gray hair. He has tattoos of a scorpion and a woman on his forearm. He was wearing blue jeans, a gray T-shirt and a blue and white baseball cap with an oil rig design on the front.
Police reports indicate he traveled to San Angelo, Texas, to help his friend, Ismael Torres, pick up Torres' car, which had broken down there. The two fixed the car and headed back to Oklahoma.
About 10 p.m., Soto was stopped by a police officer in Holiday, Texas, just outside of Wichita Falls, Texas, for a broken taillight. Torres reported seeing Soto being pulled over and also pulled to the side of the highway. Soto left the stop before Torres, and that's the last he saw of him, according to reports.
Soto was driving Torres' 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse, tag number 536-AOG. The car was found June 23 in Oklahoma City on a private gravel road near SW 160 and S May Avenue. It was completely stripped, said Sgt. Gary Knight, spokesman for the Oklahoma City Police Department.
Soto speaks only Spanish, does not have a cellphone, and is not believed to know his children's telephone numbers.
His wallet contained less than $60, and he doesn't carry credit cards.
Gaynor said Soto was carrying telephone numbers for a few friends in his wallet, but none have heard from him.>>
