OK - Deaf boy, 8, crashes car in OKC

How on earth was he able to drive from Moore (SW OKC) to NW OKC without having a wreck and killing himself and someone else? Miracles do happen. Time to hide the car keys!!

That's what I was wondering -- quite a little jaunt for him.

I realize it was night time and before the a.m. traffic rush, but it is a large city and there had to be other cars on the road. I wonder if he was simply able to obey the stoplights and stop signs for that long? Perhaps he is more visually alert due to the hearing loss? Still a very long way for an 8 year old, regardless.
