OKLAHOMA CITY —
Police issued a Silver Alert on Saturday for a missing 69-year-old Oklahoma City man.

Johnnie Erwin Smith was last seen with a woman in a yellow 2017 Dodge Charger with Oklahoma tag CAR-949 in the 100 block of South Classen Boulevard in Moore, officials said. Police officials said he left a metro-area nursing home around 9:15 a.m.

Smith is insulin-dependent and has trouble communicating, officials said.

Authorities have not released information about the woman.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers found Johnnie Erwin Smith, who officials said is safe.
