Wow, so you knew Luke. My condolences. Even if he's not a member of your family by marriage now, you must be feeling pretty sad about this. So, thanks for offering any insights.

Do you know if his family has any idea about why he was in the Braggs area? Was he supposed to be somewhere else? The article said he generally stuck to routines.

Also, how long had he owned the F-150, do you know?

I’m not sure how long he had owned the truck, but he owned a lawn service and the truck was used as part of that business. The family know the Braggs/GreenLeaf Lake/Lake Tenkiller area pretty well, but no idea why he was in Braggs this particular morning.

Thank you, Sunlight7. If he'd owned a Silverado for years, and had just recently purchased the F-150, I could see, perhaps, him slipping up on this...initially. If under duress, maybe more so. But to make the mistake and not correct it is not normal behavior for most people. Especially not if he was seriously wanting a tow. Leaving his ID in the mud...was that a mistake? It sounds like he was trying to leave clues, but it's really puzzling why he'd go to the house for this and not just ask to call the police, if he was being followed or harassed. And why not use his cell phone? Wondering if the battery was dead; does anyone know about that?

So did the truck get stuck? Or was there an accident? If it were an accident, I can see Luke having some kind of head injury, causing him to give the false information and ultimately drowning. There was a recent case in which this happened. Gosh, I cannot remember the name right now, though. I hope the autopsy gives more answers.
