Its horrible for someone to abuse an innocent child in that way. I hope they give the woman the longest sentence possible. It seems to always be women who do this. I have never seen a case of a man doing this. I hope the child is now safe in someone's loving arms and that she will have a safe and happy home for the rest of her growing up years.

August 2013:

At a preliminary hearing Thursday, a Tulsa County judge found sufficient evidence to order Victoria Lynn Lee bound over on a charge of "child abuse by Munchausen syndrome by proxy."...

The only witness to testify at the hearing was Dr. Michael Baxter, a pediatrician.
He testified that he reviewed medical records and examined the girl, who he said is a healthy 6-year-old."
Baxter said that in his opinion, this is a case of "child abuse. More specifically, medical child abuse."...

Lee is free on bond.

Temporary sole custody has been awarded to the child's father (who was boyfriend to Lee but not married to her), but Victoria Lee gets two professionally supervised visits per week.

On the 31St January 2013 the woman Lee's boyfriend supposedly had an affair with filed for a temporary protection order against Lee - it was granted.

In February 2013 Lee applied for a temporary protection order against the woman who supposedly had an affair with her boyfriend - denied to to lack of evidence. Lee claimed this woman has been making up lies about her.

In April 2013 the father applied for an emergency protective order against Lee, he said she threatened to slit his throat and he takes the threat seriously. Denied due to lack of evidence.

Don't you have to be married to have an affair?

In November 2014 Lee brought a lawsuit against a man who rear-ended her in October 2012. She claims the accident caused her "tremendous pain and suffering", high medical expenses and loss of earnings. She asked for over $10,000 damages.

The man asked that the suit be dismissed as such suits have to be filed within two years of an accident.

Lee points out that there is an exception to this rule - if the person under a legal disability at the time then they get longer to bring suit. She argued that she had a competency hearing in September 2014 and she says that is evidence that she was under a legal disability. She was declared competent on 8th December 2014.

The man said that she was attempting to be found incompetent whilst waiting for trial for Munchausen's by Proxy child abuse, but she was never actually found to be incompetent.

She argued that in the application for a competency hearing, her lawyer wrote a list of things she did or said in that show she was disconnected from reality and so under a mental disability.

The judge in the car accident suit found that "The court finds that the fact that Ms. Lee is being being criminally charged by the state of Oklahoma with Munchausen's by Proxy does not mean that she is being determined legally disabled" under the relevant section and so the lawsuit was dismissed in June 2015.

Found guilty of Munchasen's by proxy child abuse and sentenced to eight years in a state prison and a $5000 fine that she had to start paying on two weeks after the verdict was handed down.
