According to court documents obtained by FOX59/CBS4, Madison Marshall pleaded guilty on April 25 to Neglect of a Dependent Resulting in Death (Level 1 Felony) and Neglect of a Dependent (Level 6 Felony).

In exchange, the state has agreed to dismiss several other neglect charges that were pending against her and an additional charge of Assisting a Criminal who Committed Murder (Level 5 Felony).

Mom of toddler found dead in dresser in Morgan County takes plea deal

Madison Marshall pleads guilty to neglect in death of 1-year-old daughter. Sentenced to 25 years in prison. Trial of co-defendant Roan Waters begins Thursday.

Following her trial, she will serve a 25-year sentence in Indiana Department of Corrections: 25 years for neglect resulting in death and two years for neglect of a dependent. These sentences will be served at the same time.

Additionally, Marshall has agreed to testify against Roan Waters when he goes to trial.

Waters faces numerous charges, including:

• One count of murder
• Two counts of neglect of a dependent resulting in death
• One count of neglect of a dependent resulting in serious injury
• One count of battery resulting in injury when the victim is under 14
• Two counts of neglect of a dependent that endangers the dependent
• One count of neglect of a dependent where dependent is abandoned or cruelly confine

Oaklee Snow's mother takes plea, will testify against boyfriend in child's death

The mother of 2-year-old Oaklee Snow, accepted a plea deal regarding her daughter's death, agreeing to testify against co-defendant Roan Waters.

During police interviews, Marshall admitted that she and Waters killed Oaklee on February 9, later revealing that Waters often abused the child for minor misbehaviors.

On the day of Oaklee's death, Marshall described hearing Waters yell at her daughter before running into the room to find Oaklee struggling to breathe. Despite attempts to revive her in cold water, she reportedly wrapped her body in a blanket and disposed of it at the abandoned property.

Roan Waters, the boyfriend of Madison Marshall, has accepted a plea deal related to the death of 1-year-old Oaklee Snow.

According to court documents, Waters agreed to plead guilty to Neglect of a Dependent Resulting in Death and two counts of Neglect.

Both defendants are scheduled for sentencing on June 13.

The plea deal carries a 45-year sentence for Waters. By accepting the plea, Waters waives his right to appeal any sentence imposed by the court.
